Job Overview
As a member of our team, you will play a vital role in helping young people navigate life’s challenges. Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing personalized support plans for youth.
- Conducting individual and group counseling sessions.
- Facilitating workshops on life skills, education, and career readiness.
- Working in partnership with families to ensure a supportive environment.
- Building relationships with local agencies and resources to provide comprehensive support.
- Monitoring progress and evaluating outcomes to adjust support strategies as needed.
- Keeping accurate and confidential records of all youth interactions.
- Participating in regular team meetings and training sessions.
Requirements
To thrive in targeted youth support jobs at our organization, you should meet the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, education, or related field.
- Experience working with youth in a counseling or support role.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with young individuals.
- Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and with external partners.
- Knowledge of community resources and services available to youth.
- Compassionate, patient, and dedicated attitude towards youth support.
Preferred Qualifications

- Previous experience working in a nonprofit environment.
- Familiarity with trauma-informed care practices.
