Job Opportunity: Packaging Machine Technician

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain various types of packaging machinery including bottling, labeling, and cartoning equipment.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure machinery operates efficiently.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues effectively and promptly to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with production and quality assurance teams to ensure product specifications are met.
• Document all maintenance and repair activities accurately in accordance with company standards.
• Train and mentor junior technicians and operators on safety procedures and machine operation.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols to promote a safe workplace.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree in a relevant field is preferred.
• 2+ years of experience working with packaging machinery or in a related role.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of electrical systems and ability to read schematics is a plus.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as required.
