Join Our Team as an Active Directory Specialist

Are you a detail-oriented and proactive IT professional with a passion for identity management and network security? We are seeking an Active Directory Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing, maintaining, and optimizing our Active Directory environment to ensure seamless operation and enhanced security.

Your Role

As an Active Directory Specialist, you will be primarily responsible for:

• Managing and supporting the organization’s Active Directory environment.
• Creating and implementing security policies, procedures, and technical standards for Active Directory.
• Conducting regular audits of Active Directory and managing user lifecycle: provisioning, modification, and de-provisioning.
• Troubleshooting issues related to Active Directory and providing detailed solutions.
• Monitoring domain controllers to ensure maximum uptime, performance, and security.
• Developing and maintaining documentation related to Active Directory architecture, configurations, and procedures.
• Collaborating with other IT teams and stakeholders to implement technology solutions that enhance user access and security.

Qualifications

To be successful in this position, you should possess the following skills and experience:

• Proven experience as an IT Specialist, Systems Administrator, or similar role within a corporate environment.
• Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy Objects (GPOs), DNS, DHCP, and related services.
• Experience with identity management solutions and user access controls.
• Ability to automate and script repetitive tasks using PowerShell or similar scripting languages.
• In-depth knowledge of security protocols and best practices associated with Active Directory.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.

Education and Certifications

The ideal candidate should have:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate, or equivalent.
